Marvellous location in well kept area, close enough to the boat station to the Islands and center of Stresa. For tea or coffee visit L'idrovolante Cafe nearby. Delightful, neat room with a private bathroom and a shower, hair dryers, and a bidet.

Hotel staff was very polite and helpful, room was clean and spacious, breakfast was good.

We enjoyed the peacefulness of the area and being able to tour the islands on the lake.

The hotel reception has a deal with the local taxis to transport guests to the railway station which is approximately 1 to 2 kms away for a set price of 10 euros which is about three times the real cost. When you ask for a taxi to the station you are told that it will cost 10 euros and the taxi driver tells you the same when he picks you up. He does not put the meter on. This is a rort and makes me wonder what kickback the hotel receives.

Clean property with accommodating staff especially receptionist who booked us in. Very very good breakfast with industrial products and fantastic location. Location so close to ferries, cable car, restaurants and where boats leave for the islands. Also, to Malpensa Airport.

Price point if too high for the comfort. The beds left something to be desired - too hard and 2 twins strapped together to make a king.

Good hotel, nice rooms, very clean, lovely decoration and furniture. Very kind and helpful staff. Beautiful garden and roof terrace.

The swimming pool was rather cold, brrr! Breakfast juice was not fresh. Balconies were nice & cosy, but offer little privacy. Roof terrace would be even better with some sunchairs and parasols, it is a beautiful spot.

Perfect spot for a relaxing getaway!

We just loved our time here! The room was super clean with sunshine flooding in. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of options. The rooftop views of the lake were gorgeous, but I kinda wished they utilized the space better. Just a 20-min walk to town, but we took taxis back since it was easier. A fab stay!

The fact that it was a family hotel - all the family went out of their way to make your stay memorable. The position of the hotel is in a quiet spot away from the centre of Stresa but there is a ferry stop for trips only 100m away. The hotel has a lot of style which is complemented by the high standard of art around the walls which are the work of the Owner Vittorio Rosa - who also can play the piano!

On some evenings the dinner menu could probably have been a little more imaginative but was good value for money.

reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is excellently located for the ferries to the islands and the centre of Stresa a safe 15-20 min walk away. Good 3 star standard.

It was unfortunate that there was renovation works happening at a residential property next door which meant that our lake view room was noisy during the day when you wanted to relax in the room. Noise seems to similarly carry over to the pool area, not great when you want to lounge by the pool in the afternoons. Not the hotel's fault though. The room towels are the worst I've ever seen supplied in any hotel i've stayed in over the years. The face towels especially appears to be kitchen style table towels.....More 0 star standard than 3 star!

The location is perfect for exploring the islands and strolling into the main part of Stresa. I loved the spacious room with a view of the lake, it. The breakfast buffet was impressive, and I enjoyed using the outdoor pool to relax. The staff provided fantastic service.

Big size rooms with a balcony with garden view and the location is incredible!

Totally recommend for getting around area

Comfortable room, spacious balcony, with a large balcony that features a table and two chairs plus two sun loungers, great to enjoy our mornings outdoors while the wi-fi kept us connected throughout our stay.

The staff was friendly. Plus, the location is perfect, just a short walk to the ferry and city center.

The air conditioning struggled to keep the room comfortable , and noise from adjoining rooms was a bit bothersome during the night.
